China has firmly rejected accusations made by U.S. President Donald Trump, who claimed that Beijing was “conspiring” with Russia and North Korea against the United States.

Responding to Trump’s comments, China’s foreign ministry stated that its diplomatic relations are never aimed at targeting any third party. “China’s development of diplomatic relations with any country is never directed against any third party,” spokesperson Guo Jiakun said.

Trump’s remarks came after a military parade in Beijing, where Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un stood alongside Chinese President Xi Jinping. In a post, Trump extended congratulations to China for its victory day celebrations but added a sarcastic message suggesting that Xi “give my warmest regards to Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un, as you conspire against the United States.”

Russia also dismissed the claims, with Kremlin officials clarifying that no joint efforts were being made against Washington. They suggested that Trump’s comments were likely intended as irony rather than a serious accusation.

Hours later, Trump appeared to soften his tone, saying he maintains a “very good” relationship with China, Russia, and North Korea. However, he expressed disappointment that President Xi did not mention the U.S. in his victory day address. Trump added that while the event was “beautiful and impressive,” he believed it was staged partly with him in mind.

Meanwhile, China confirmed that Xi Jinping will soon hold bilateral talks with Kim Jong Un. According to officials, the discussions will focus on strengthening strategic communication, governance exchanges, and advancing the traditional ties between the two nations. While the meeting’s timing remains undisclosed, Beijing emphasized its importance for regional cooperation.
