Donald Trump delivered a combative address at the United Nations, urging countries to close their borders, expel foreigners, and resist what he called the UN’s “globalist migration agenda.” He accused the world body of funding programs that undermine national sovereignty and warned European leaders that unchecked migration was “destroying your heritage.”
Trump denounced open borders as a “failed experiment” and criticized UN programs that provide aid to migrants, claiming they were fueling illegal migration to the West. He also attacked renewable energy policies, dismissing climate change as a “con job” and blaming green initiatives for weakening developed nations while empowering polluting rivals.
On international conflicts, Trump said he would push heavy tariffs on Russia unless Europe cut energy imports, arguing that nations were “funding the war against themselves.” He condemned efforts by some UN members to recognize a Palestinian state, warning that it would reward Hamas despite ongoing hostilities.
The former president reaffirmed his agenda of tariffs, strong borders, and traditional energy, while also calling for global cooperation to prevent nuclear and biological warfare. He credited El Salvador for its role in detaining migrants that he described as gang members, presenting it as a model of tough security enforcement.
